Seat Allotment of 2nd Round on 25th June
The revised schedule of JoSAA counseling 2025 for IIT-NIT admission was released on Friday. According to this schedule, the entire counseling process will be completed in six rounds only.
Students have been given time till 5 pm on June 22 for online reporting of the first round. If any deficiency is found in the documents in online reporting, students can respond to the query received till 5 pm on June 24.
Career counseling expert of ALLEN Career Institute informed that joint counseling is going on by JoSAA for 62,853 seats in 127 colleges including IIT-NIT, IIIT and GFTI, which includes 18160 seats in 23 IITs, 24525 seats in 32 NITs, 9940 seats in 26 IIITs and 10228 seats in 47 GFTIs.
According to the revised schedule released, the seat allocation for the second round of JoSAA counseling will be released on June 25 at 5 pm, which was earlier scheduled to be released on June 21 at 5 pm.
The third round will be allotted on July 2, the fourth on July 6 and the fifth on July 11. The seat allocation for the final i.e. sixth round will be done on July 16.
Students who have been allotted seats in any college in the first round are required to upload the required documents by selecting Float, Slide, Freeze counselling option in online reporting and pay the seat acceptance fee by 5 pm on 21 June, otherwise they will be out of the further rounds of counselling and their allotted seat will also be cancelled.
