Document Verification through Physical Reporting
The third round of JoSAA counseling for 62,853 seats in 127 institutes including IITs and NITs will be released on July 2, at 10 am.
These 62853 seats includes 18160 seats in 23 IITs, 24525 seats in 32 NITs, 9940 seats in 26 IIITs and 10228 seats in 47 GFTIs Students who have been allotted seats for the first time in this round will have to upload the required documents and pay the seat acceptance fee by July 4 at 5 pm and report online.
Students whose documents are found to be deficient during online reporting will have to respond by July 5 at 5 pm, otherwise their seat will be cancelled.
According to Allen Career Institute’s career counseling expert, for final admission in IIT NIT, students will have to take admission by doing physical reporting and verifying documents.
IITs have started providing information related to online reporting, registration process, orientation for final admission on their website.
Along with this, students will also be issued website links and guidelines of the allotted college to complete the physical reporting process. Information related to the dates of physical reporting and classes of NIT has not been released yet. For this, students will have to wait till the fifth round of JoSAA counseling.
The JoSAA Counseling 2025 started from 3rd June 2025 after the declaration of the JEE Advanced 2025 results on 2nd June. The entire JoSAA counseling process for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs will be completed in six rounds only.
