Fourth Round Reporting Till 5 pm on July 15
Online reporting for the fourth round of JoSAA counselling for 59917 seats in 121 institutes including IITs and NITs of the country will have to be done by 5pm on July 15.
Along with this, students who are found to have any deficiency in their uploaded documents will have to respond by 5pm on July 16, otherwise their seat will be cancelled. Seat allocation for the fifth round will be done on July 17.
In the fifth round of JoSAA counselling, students will have to do online reporting in different ways for final admission in the allotted IIT and NIT.

Students who have been allotted seats in IITs will have to complete the admission process through physical reporting by getting information about the remaining college fees and necessary documents on the website of the allotted IIT.
The dates of physical reporting for each IIT are different.
On the contrary, students who have been allotted NIT, IIIT and GFTI will have to first confirm their seats by paying partial admission fee between 24th and 26th July otherwise, their allotted NIT seat will be cancelled.
This partial admission fee has been kept at Rs 45,000 for General, OBC and EWS and Rs 20,000 for SC-ST.
After paying the partial admission fee, the student will get information related to the documents required for final admission in the colleges of the allotted NIT system and the remaining college fees from the website of the colleges.
Students who are not satisfied with their allotted IIT seat till the fifth round of JoSAA counselling and are willing to appear in JEE-Advanced-2025 exam next year, are required to get their IIT seat withdrawn by the prescribed date which is till 5 pm on 15th July otherwise they will not be able to appear in JEE-Advanced exam next year (2025), provided such students fulfill other eligibility criteria of JEE-Advanced exam.

The condition of leaving the allotted seat applies only to JEE-Advanced exam for admission in IIT, whereas the obligation to leave or not leave the seat allotted from NIT system does not apply to the eligibility to appear in JEE-Advanced and JEE-Main next year.
After JoSAA counselling, CSAB will conduct special round counselling for the vacant seats of NIT, IIIT and GFTI in two rounds between 30th July and 14th August. Students can participate in this counselling by keeping or leaving their allotted JoSAA seat.
Students who are satisfied with their JoSAA allotted seat and secure their seat by paying partial admission fee during JoSAA counselling, if such students do not get any new seat allotted to them after participating in CSAB counselling, then the seat allotted to them in JoSAA counselling will be re-allocated.
