Karnataka Board Exams 2026: Class 10th and 12th Date Sheet Released

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the official date sheet for the Karnataka Board Exams 2026. This timetable has been released for both SSLC (Class 10) and PUC (Class 12) exams: Exam 1 and Exam 2. Class 10th (SSLC) Exam 1: Commencing in March 2025

According to the date sheet released by the board, the first Class 10th exam (SSLC Exam 1) will be conducted from March 18, 2025 to April 2, 2025. This exam will be held in a single shift, from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM.

The exam will begin with the First Language paper and conclude with the Core Subject. The purpose of this exam is to evaluate students’ subject-specific understanding and fundamental knowledge.

Class 10th (SSLC) Exam 2: To be held in May 2025

For students who require a re-examination, the SSLC Exam 2 will be conducted between May 18 and May 25, 2025. This exam will also be held in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM. This exam will begin with the First Language and conclude with the JTS (Job Training Subject).

The purpose of this second exam is to give students an opportunity to improve their performance.  Class 12th (PUC) Exam 1: February to March 2025 The first examination for Class 12th (Pre-University Course – PUC) will be conducted from February 28 to March 17, 2025. The examination will be held daily from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The first day’s exam will be for Kannada and Arabic subjects, while the last day’s exam will include subjects such as Music, Electronics, and Information Technology (IT). This examination will be crucial for students seeking admission to higher education.

Class 12th (PUC) Exam 2: April to May 2025

The board has scheduled the second phase of the examination, i.e., PUC Exam 2, from April 25 to May 9, 2025. The exam timings will remain the same — from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This examination will also begin with Kannada and Arabic subjects and conclude with other subjects including Hindustani Music, Electronics, and Information Technology. This examination is a special opportunity for students who could not perform as expected in the first examination.

Important Tips for Students

Manage your time: Now that the timetable has been released, students should plan their preparation systematically.  Solve previous years’ question papers: This will improve your understanding of the exam pattern and boost your confidence.

Allocate revision time for each subject:  Pay special attention to subjects like Mathematics and Science and practice them thoroughly.

Take care of your health: Adequate sleep and a nutritious diet are essential during the exams to maintain concentration.
