More than 1.18 lakh MBBS and 26 thousand BDS Seats Available
The result of NEET UG 2025 has been released and this year about 12 lakh students have cleared the exam. Now the next important step is to choose the right counseling process, which plays a decisive role in admission to medical college.
Although students check their rank, many students are unable to decide which counseling is most suitable for them, and due to this confusion, many students are deprived of a seat despite being eligible.
Therefore, it is very important to move forward with the right strategy and information.
| NEET Rank Range | Recommended Counselling |
| 1 – 50,000 | All India Quota (AIQ) |
| 1 – 1,00,000 | State Quota Counselling |
| 50,000 – 2,00,000 | Private College/Deemed University Counselling |
| Above 2,00,000 | Deemed University / Management / NRI Quota |
If you have a state domicile certificate, you will get more benefit in state quota counselling. So, make sure to participate in both counsellings—AIQ and state.
| Courses | Number of Colleges | Seats |
| MBBS | 780 | 1,18,190 seats |
| BDS | 329 | 27,618 seats |
| BAMS/BHMS/BSMS | Dozens of AYUSH colleges | Thousands of seats |
| BUMS | Unani colleges | Available |
| BSc Nursing | Government & Private Colleges | Admission on NEET Score |
| Paramedical Courses | Selected Institutes | Admission by NEET Score |
NEET score is the basis for admission in all medical courses.
After clearing NEET 2025, choosing the right counseling process is as important as clearing the exam. Evaluate your rank, state, budget and options and apply in all possible counselling options.
Remember—just passing the exam is not enough, only knowledge and strategy will get you a medical seat.
