BITS Pilani: A Premium College Considered Comparable to IIT

If you can’t find your desired branch at IIT, BITS Pilani is India’s best option. BITS has three campuses – Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. Admission to all three is based on the BITSAT entrance exam.

Eligibility:

  • 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Math
  • At least 60% in each subject in PCM
  • No reservation

BITSAT is conducted twice a year in CBT mode. Exams are held in May and June. Placement, package, and exposure are considered comparable to or better than many IITs. A key advantage of BITS is that a dual degree program like CS can be obtained after completing the MSc branch.
