A New Caring Initiative Under ‘Kota Cares’ Campaign
Under the ‘Kota Cares’ campaign, a collaborative effort between the district administration and Kota Students Welfare Society, the Kota city known for its academic excellence is now taking a proactive step towards becoming a role model in the emotional and mental well-being of students.
Taking this forward, top faculty members from ALLEN Career Institute have now stepped beyond the boundaries of classrooms and coaching centres to reach students directly at their hostels.
An Initiative for Care of the Students
The aim of this initiative is not limited to only academic guidance, but it is being done keeping in mind the care of the students. Faculties are visiting hostels, interacting with students, listening to their concerns, offering solutions, and helping boost their confidence.
This special campaign has been launched especially for NEET aspirants appearing for the exam on May 4. Sessions are being conducted in key student residential areas, including Jawahar Nagar, Landmark City, and others.
Over 40 Faculties Have Visited More Than 300 Hostels
A team of 40 experienced faculty members has been formed, divided into groups of two, visiting over 20 hostels daily. These sessions typically last for about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes, during which students can openly share their academic or personal issues. Faculty members not only address academic doubts but also provide emotional support and guidance related to hostel life.
According to students, the initiative has brought a sense of relief and comfort. During exam time, many students experience loneliness and pressure, but when teachers visit them informally at their place of stay, it makes them feel seen, safe, and encouraged.
One-to-One Interactions with Students:
ALLEN’s objective behind this initiative is not just to teach, but to ensure the holistic development and mental well-being of students. Faculty members are having one-to-one interactions, teaching stress management techniques, and reassuring them that they are not alone in this journey.
If any student is feeling anxious, fearful, or mentally exhausted due to exam pressure, the faculty members are offering personalized guidance and emotional support.
