Kota Collector, Dr. Ravindra Goswami Interacted with the Students at ALLEN Satyarth Campus
Under the “Kamyaab Kota” and “Kota Cares” campaign of the district administration, coaching students are being constantly motivated. In this episode, District Collector Dr. Ravindra Goswami reached the Satyarth Campus of ALLEN Coaching Institute in Jawahar Nagar on Tuesday, 18 February and interacted with the students preparing for the NEET exam.
How to Avoid Self-Doubt and Overthinking?
During the session, Dr. Goswami discussed the psychological aspects of students. When a student asked a question related to self-doubt and overthinking, he said that this problem occurs with every person. He told that when we give more importance to something, the mind cross-checks it again and again, which leads to overthinking.
To manage this, first accept that we are overthinking on a subject. After this, write down your worries, understand their effects and then tear that paper or delete it digitally. This will reduce negative thinking and increase mental clarity.
How to do Backlog Management and Revision?
Talking about backlog management, he said that there is no student who has done all the studies and still has time left. He said that smart study is necessary for difficult subjects.
Students were advised to adopt keyword based revision technique, in which writing the main points related to difficult subjects on the corner of the notebook makes revision easier.Apart from this, whenever time is available, especially on holidays, emphasis was laid on giving priority to revision.
75 Days Left, Solve Paper Daily
Discussing the strategy of NEET UG exam, Dr. Goswami said that now only 75 days are left, so students should make it a habit to solve the paper in a full three-hour sitting every day. This will give a correct assessment of exam preparation and identify weak topics. He said that everyone makes silly mistakes, but these mistakes can be reduced by solving more papers.
Take Care of Sleep and Mental Freshness
Explaining the importance of maintaining sleep and mental freshness, he said that sleep is natural and it also relaxes us. If a student can increase his concentration and quality of studies by taking power naps, then he should definitely do so.
He suggested that taking a short rest after 5-6 hours of continuous study can make further studies more effective. He warned that if sleep is not complete, the burden on the mind will increase and the ability to study will be affected.
Students Asked Questions Openly
In this motivational session, the students also asked their questions openly and got the solutions to their doubts related to exam preparations. Dr. Goswami discussed every aspect related to the exam in depth. He wished all the students good luck for the exam and inspired them to make continuous efforts for success.
At the end of the session, Collector Dr. Goswami distributed chocolates to the students and wished them good luck for the exam. ALLEN Founder Director Rajesh Maheshwari also attended the entire class sitting with the students.
