Last Chance for Correction in JEE Main 2025 Application as NTA opens Correction Window

Corrections Will be Done Between 27-28 February

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for JEE Main 2025 examination today, 27 February 2025. The aspirants will be able to make corrections in their January and April session Application forms. Several corrections will be allowed in the application form of JEE Main 2025.

Career Counselling Expert of ALLEN Career Institute said that on the demand of the students, NTA has announced to give the option of final correction in the interest of the students.

According to the public notice issued for this, students can make changes in course, medium of question paper, state code of eligibility, exam city, 10th and 12th qualification details, gender, and category during correction. The opportunity for correction will be available on 27th and 28th February 2025 only.

Last Chance to Change the Category

This correction option of NTA will provide relief to lakhs of students of the country, who had applied from open category due to non-availability of category documents during January JEE-Main and now want to change the category when the category documents are available.

This is the last chance to change categories in the JEE Main 2025 application. Also, there are a large number of students who have previously applied from the category and now want to apply from the open category for lacking the category certificate of OBC and EWS of 1 April 2025.

In such a situation, these lakhs of students of the country now have the option to change the final category since the eligibility for JEE-Advanced exam and further counselling process in IIT, NIT will be completed on the basis of the category filled during application. Therefore, students should think thoroughly before changing the category.

Over 2.60 Lakh Unique Candidates for JEE Main 2025 April Session

More than 16 lakh 35 thousand students have applied this year in the country’s largest engineering entrance exam JEE-Main 2025, which is the highest application in the history of JEE-Main.

It is worth mentioning that earlier 13 lakh 78 thousand students had applied for JEE-Main January session and more than 2 lakh 60 thousand new unique candidates have applied only for the April session exam.

In such a situation, the number of students appearing in the April exam will be more than 12 lakh.
