Last Year’s Registration Record may be Broken
OBC-EWS Category Students given Option to Apply
The application process for JEE-Main, the country’s largest engineering entrance exam being conducted by the National Testing Agency, is underway. As the last date approaching, the number of applicants is increasing.
According to estimates, this year more students can register for the exam than last year. The last date for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 registration is November 22.
Over 11.50 lakh Registrations So far
Career counseling expert of ALLEN Career Institute said that the last date is 22 November and till now about 11.50 lakh students have applied. Last year the number of applications for JEE Main was 12 lakh 21 thousand 764.
This record can be broken this time for JEE Main 2025. Along with this, the time of FAQ and correction window has also been released by NTA. Corrections can be made in the application on 26 and 27 November.
Answers to 35 questions have been given in the FAQ issued by NTA. In this, the most important option has been shown for the applicants related to the category.
Those students whose category documents are not ready, they can apply by writing the application registration number, date of application and name of the issuing officer given on the receipt received on applying for the category certificate.
Aspirants of Maharashtra & Jharkhand urging for extension of Last Date of Registration
It is worth mentioning that due to elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, students are facing problems in applying.
Apart from this, the formalities required for OBC and EWS category certificates are also a problem for the students. In Maharashtra and Jharkhand, students are demanding to extend the last date so that certificates can be made.
Apart from this, there are many students who had applied for upgradation in CBSE and their marks have increased in the result but the marksheets have not reached the schools. They also want the last date to be extended.
