Focus on NCERT
Since JEE Mains syllabus is based on the NCERT course of classes 11 and 12 so aspirants of JEE Main should focus on the NCERT course of classes 11 and 12.

Study vigorously
As the JEE Main preparation envisages comprehensive study instead of just cramming and reading books in long sittings, aspirants should study the syllabus of JEE Main vigorously. Study the class 11 and class 12 courses along with JEE Main preparation for strengthening the concepts. Hard work, perseverance, and diligence are key to the preparation for the JEE Main.

Study Constantly
Aspirants should study constantly and should not leave anything for the last moment before the examination as it is difficult to read everything just before the examination. Revision of the reading can be done but start reading only at examination time does not benefit aspirants in JEE Main or any other competitive examination.

Prepare timetable
Study with a timetable and give 2 hours daily to each of the subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for effective preparation for JEE Main.

Attempt Exercise
For a deeper understanding of the subject concepts, try and practice the previous year’s examination paper and NCERT Exemplar. An in-depth analysis of the previous year’s examination papers gives a fair bit of idea about the JEE Main examination pattern, important chapters, and Points to Ponder.

Preparation of the Notes
Preparation of the subject notes is an essential task in JEE Main preparation. Subject notes are handy in the revision of the course in examination time as the aspirants cannot cram or read the entire syllabus in limited examination time. Aspirants can read the subject notes as per the available time for best results. From the experience of the Exam toppers, the habit of making subject notes is very helpful in scoring high in JEE Examination.

Take Mock Tests
Mock Tests are the best way to gauge examination preparedness. Also, mock tests give a chance to analyze the weaknesses and strengths of the aspirants for JEE Main Examination.

Revision is important
Revision is the most important part of the JEE Main examination preparedness as revisiting the chapters helps to bring back the memorized part of the chapters.

Examination Tips
Attempt those questions first in the JEE Main examination in which you are comfortable instead of getting stuck in the difficult questions first up. It will not only lead to building confidence in the examination but also save crucial time in the examination.
