Choice Filling also Extended till 16 September due to Inclusion of New Colleges

MCC All India Quota's Revised Second Round Counselling process begins

MCC released the revised second round counselling schedule for admission in MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses of All India Quota on Friday evening. Along with this, the revised counselling schedule of state quota counselling has also been released.

13 new Medical Colleges, Admission option Open on total 225 New Seats

According to an Expert of ALLEN Career Institute, In the revised online second round counselling, the seat matrix will now be visible along with the seats of the newly included colleges.

In the last 3-4 days, many new colleges have received Letter of Permission from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and National Medical Commission.

All such medical colleges will also now be visible to the candidates in choice filling. After the inclusion of new colleges, the date for choice filling has also been extended. Now choice submission can be done till 16 September. Candidates can fill and lock their choices from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on 16 September.

NEET UG 2024 RE-REVISED RESULT - Header

In case of not locking the choices by 11.55 pm on 16 September, all choices will be auto-locked. Information regarding second round seat allotment will be released on 19 September. If the candidate is satisfied with his second round allotted college and does not want to participate in the further round, then he will have to inform the admission authority for this also.

The third round of MCC All India Revised UG Counselling 2024 is now proposed from 4 October.

These are the new 13 Government Medical Colleges

  • Rajasthan – Baran, Sawai Madhopur, Banswara and Nagaur
  • Uttar Pradesh – Kaushambi, Auraiya, Gonda, Chandauli, and Lakhimpur Kheri
  • Telangana – Maheshwaram, Yadadri, Quthbullapur, and Medak.

Benefit of 225 New Seats

In the revised seats matrix, 13 MBBS seats of some Government Medical Colleges included in the first round were also removed. 163 MBBS seats of the newly included Government Medical College and 62 MBBS seats of some Government Medical Colleges included in the first round have been increased. Thus, 225 new Government MBBS seats have been increased in the revised second round counselling.
