MCC Extends the Date of Resignation for Candidates Admitted from Round-1 and Round-2
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has uploaded a notice on its official website in which the date of resignation for candidates admitted from Round-1 and Round-2 has been extended till October 1.
Career Counselling Expert of ALLEN Career Institute said that MCC was receiving requests from many candidates for resignation from their Round 1 and Round 2 allotted seats.
Through this notice, MCC has informed the candidates that those candidates, who want to resign from their Round-1 or Round-2 seats due to various reasons, can do it.
In this regard, the competent authority has decided to allow resignation to such candidates, who wish to leave their allotted seat from Round-1 or Round-2. They can do so till 5:00 pm on 1 October 2024.
Instructions for Resignation from seats
All such candidates have to pay attention to these main instructions regarding resignation-
– College joined candidates of Counselling Round-1, whose college has not been upgraded in Counselling Round-2, can resign from their seat without forfeitment of their security deposit within the stipulated time period for resignation.
– Newly allotted candidates of Counselling Round-2, who have joined their allotted college, but now they want to resign from this allotted college, they can also resign from their allotted seat by giving Exit with Forfeiture option by giving their security deposit within the stipulated time period for resignation.
– Candidates who got upgraded from Counselling Round-1 to Counselling Round-2 and joined the upgraded seat but now want to resign from their joined seat, they can also resign from their allotted seat by giving Exit with Forfeiture option within the prescribed period of resignation.
– Such candidates joined from second round counselling will have to report personally to the allotted college to resign from their seat.
– MCC has advised all such candidates to ensure that their resignation is generated online (through the portal provided by MCC) by the allotted college, failing which their resignation will be considered ‘invalid’.
