Seat Matrix Released, Choice Filling Till 15 August 2023
MCC has released the All India Quota MBBS and BDS seat matrix on its official portal. With this, MCC has also started All India Online Second Round Counselling 2023.
The MCC online second round counselling 2023 has been released as per clear vacancy seat matrix category, in which 6390 MBBS seats of government sector medical colleges and 619 BDS seats of dental colleges have been declared.
This also includes 356 MBBS seats of AIIMS (AIIMS) and 2652 MBBS seats of Medical Colleges of Deemed Sector including additional 756 MBBS seats under NRI quota and 895 BDS seats in Dental Colleges of Deemed Sector and additional 89 seats under NRI quota.
22 MBBS and 19 Dental seats under internal quota clear vacancy seat of Delhi University, 12 MBBS and 30 Dental seats of Indraprastha University will also be filled through this counselling. 9 MBBS and 54 Dental seats of Banaras Hindu University and 26 MBBS and 12 Dental seats of Aligarh Muslim University are available. JIPMER Pondicherry and Karaikal campuses have 50 MBBS seats available, including 40 All India Quota seats and 10 local internal MBBS seats.
Similarly, 65 MBBS seats of ESIC Medical College, which are reserved for children of ESIC card holders, will also be filled through this counselling, 447 seats of B.Sc Nursing Honors will also be filled through this counselling. Along with this, the seat matrix of virtual vacancy has also been released, in which the first round joined candidates who have expressed their desire to upgrade to second round, those seats will also be visible to the candidates during choice filling.
Along with the issue of seat matrix, the process of choice filling has also started, which will run from August 10 to August 15. Therefore, while filling the desired choice, the students must also keep an eye on the fees of the concerned college.
Lock the choices only after filling all the choices carefully, as the choices once submitted cannot be changed. Choice filling can be locked by the students till 15th August. In case the choices are not locked till 11.55 pm on 15th August, all the choices will be auto-locked.
The seat allotment information for the second round will be released on August 18 and candidates will also be able to print the online allotment letter. After the allotment is issued, the students will have to appear in the allotted medical college from August 20 to August 28 with original certificates. Here along with the original certificates, two sets of self-attested photocopies and fee will also have to be submitted.
