ALLEN Career Institute’s Career Counseling Expert said that the clear vacancy seat matrix has been released according to the category in the counseling. In this, 2560 MBBS seats of government sector medical colleges and 401 BDS seats of dental colleges have been announced.
In this, 191 MBBS seats are also available as clear vacancy in the Government Medical College of Rajasthan. Apart from this, 78 MBBS seats of AIIMS and 626 MBBS seats of medical colleges of deemed areas are also included, which includes additional 252 MBBS seats of NRI quota and 121 BDS seats of dental colleges of deemed areas and 75 additional seats of NRI quota.
18 MBBS and 12 BDS seats under Delhi University’s internal quota clear vacancy seats, four MBBS and 21 BDS seats of Indraprastha University will also be filled through this counseling. 28 BDS seats of Banaras Hindu University and two MBBS and two BDS seats of Aligarh Muslim University are available.
23 MBBS seats of JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal campus are available which also includes six MBBS seats of All India quota and 17 local internal MBBS seats. Similarly, 37 MBBS seats of ESA Medical College which are reserved for children of ESA card holders will also be filled through this counseling.
175 seats of B.Sc Nursing Honors will also be filled through this counseling. Along with this, 10956 seat matrix of MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing Honors courses of virtual vacancy has also been released in which the seats of the joined candidates of the first and second round, who have expressed their desire to upgrade in the third round, will also be visible to the candidates during choice filling.
Choice Filling Begins
With the release of the seat matrix, the process of choice filling has also started which was to start from 5 October to 8 October as per the schedule announced by MCC earlier, but now there is high possibility of change in it and extension of the date. Candidates should lock the choice only after filling all the choices carefully.
Candidates can fill and lock their choices till 8 October. In case of not locking the choices till 11.55 pm on 8 October, all choices will be auto-locked. Information regarding seat allotment for the third round will be released on 11 October and candidates will also be able to print the allotment letter online.
After the allotment is released, students will have to appear in the allotted medical college between 12 October and 18 October with original certificates. Here, along with the original certificates, two sets of self-attested photocopies and the fee will also have to be deposited
Candidates joining the college in this will not be able to participate in the stray vacancy round. Apart from this, even if they do not join their allotted college, they will not be able to participate in the stray vacancy round. Therefore, students must also look at the fees of the concerned college while filling their desired choices.
The above deadline is as per the schedule proposed by MCC on its official website, in which there is full possibility of change and extension of the deadline, because choice filling has started on the website after two days. Therefore, candidates should keep checking the MCC website from time to time.
