MCC Issues Notice for Students for Nationality Conversion from Indian to NRI

MCC has Released the Notice on Its Official Website

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has announced a notice on its website regarding the process for candidates seeking to change their nationality from Indian to NRI. Candidates claiming NRI status must submit relevant supporting documents by 10 AM on August 10, 2024. These documents should be emailed to ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com.

The MCC has advised candidates to regularly check the MCC website (mcc.nic.in) for further instructions. Please note that emails received before or after the specified deadline will not be considered. All required documents should be sent in a single email within the given timeframe.

Required Supporting Documents

Here is the List of Supporting Documents-

  1. Proof that the sponsor is an NRI (e.g., passport and visa of the sponsor).
  2. Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of the Hon’ble supreme court of india W.P. (c) No. 689/2017-Constortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors.dated 22-08-217.
  3. A notarized affidavit from the sponsor confirming that they will cover the entire course fee.
  4. An Embassy Certificate from the sponsor, issued by the Consulate within the last six months.
  5. The NEET scorecard of the candidate.
  6. A notarized Family Tree from the Tehsildar.

Please ensure that all documents are compiled and sent together in one email by the deadline.
