MCC NEET UG 2024 All India Quota – Third Round Counseling Starts

National Medical Commission Issued Letter of Permission to 10 New Medical Colleges

Approval of medical colleges is being issued with the aim of meeting the shortage of doctors in the country in the coming time. So far, Letter of Permission (LOP) has been issued to more than 33 government medical colleges in many states by the National Medical Commission.

In this, maximum 12 government medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh, 8 of Telangana, 5 of Rajasthan, 3 of Madhya Pradesh, 2 of Maharashtra, 1 each of Andhra Pradesh, Assam and Odisha had received LOP till the start of the second round counselling.

According to the Career Counseling Expert of ALLEN Career Institute, through uploading a notice on the MCC NEET UG All India Quota website on Thursday evening, it was announced to include ten new additional government medical colleges in this counselling, which will increase 150 MBBS seats.

Admission to MBBS first year will be given on all these seats on the basis of NEET UG-2024 rank this year.

Admission in 43 New Medical Colleges this Year

Under this, maximum 8 new government medical colleges will be included in Maharashtra, 1 each in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, whose 15 percent seats will be filled through NEET UG All India Quota Third Round Counseling. 85 percent seats will be filled through their state counselling process.

Thus 150 government MBBS seats will be filled by All India candidates and 850 MBBS seats will be filled by state quota candidates.

The new medical colleges which are participating for the first time in the third round counselling include Government Medical College, Buldhana, Maharashtra, Government Medical College, Ambernath, Maharashtra, Government Medical College Hingoli, Maharashtra, Government Medical College Bhandara, Maharashtra, Government Medical College Amravati, Maharashtra, Government Medical College, Washim, Maharashtra, Government Medical College Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, Government Medical College, Jalna, Maharashtra, Government Medical College Haridwar, Uttarakhand, Autonomous State Medical College, Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh.

Thus, candidates will be admitted for the first time in 43 new government medical colleges in this academic session 2024-25.

New Registration – 3rd October to 8th October 2024 – (Only for candidates participating in this All India Counseling for the first time)

Choice Filling – 5th October to 8th October 2024

Choice Locking – 8th October 2024 till 11:55 PM

Seat Allotment Result – 11th October 2024

College Reporting – 12th October to 18th October 2024
