Choice Filling Date Also Extended
8 new government medical colleges have been recognized in the second round of the online counseling process of MBBS and BDS and BSc Nursing of MCC All India Quota.
MCC has issued a notice on its official website on Wednesday evening and informed all the candidates that NMC / MOHFW has issued new Letter of Permissions (LOPs) for some new medical colleges, so some new seats have been added in the choice filling for Round-2 of MCC UG Counseling 2024.
Therefore, the date of choice filling of MCC UG Counseling 2024 Round-2 has also been extended so that the candidates can also exercise the option of newly added seats in Round-2.
The new colleges to which NMC/MOHFW has issued LOP are located in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh —-
The above medical colleges are going to participate in MCC UG Counseling 2024 for the first time.
There is a good news for the medical aspirants of the State. Now 4 new medical colleges will start in the State of Rajasthan. Government Medical College of Baran, Sawai Madhopur, Banswara and Jhunjhunu have got letter of permission. In this way, 400 seats have increased in four new medical colleges. Every medical college has 100-100 seats. All these colleges got LOP in the second appeal.
Till now admission was given on 5204 seats of state quota in Rajasthan. These include 2071 government quota, 1652 general seats, 1096 management and 385 NRI seats. The total was 5605. After the recognition of four colleges, the seats will cross 6 thousand and the number of colleges will increase to 30. Only 4 districts are left in the state where there are no colleges.
