Rijul Defied Health Challenges to Clinch Triumph in NEET UG 2025
Rijul Jain, who hails from Malang district (Odisha), has performed brilliantly in NEET UG 2025. He has secured AIR 47 in NEET UG 2025 Results. But this success did not come just like that. This is not just a story of hard work and study, but of a challenge that changed him from within – an appendix operation, which did not bring him down, but made him stronger.
In the last month of Class 11, Rijul’s health started deteriorating. He started having unbearable stomach pain and the doctors diagnosed Appendicitis. An operation was necessary – and it was done.
But the problem was that his Class 12 classes were to begin just 7 days later. Along with that, a series of major tests at Allen.
This was the point where most students take a break. Rijul didn’t take a break – instead he decided that this struggle would give him the real motivation to become a doctor.
Not only did he recover physically quickly, but he also mentally prepared himself that “if I stop now, I will not be able to become what I set out to become”
On the seventh day of the operation, even though his body had not fully recovered, Rijul arrived for class. He gave priority to his health – with daily exercise and a healthy diet. This is where his rediscovery journey began.
Now he not only memorized every syllabus, but also memorized it with understanding. He made a list of silly mistakes, short notes, folders, diagrams – everything was more organized than before.
Rijul’s uncle is a cardiologist by profession and serves the poor section of the society. Seeing him, Rijul dreamt of becoming a doctor. He decided that he too would serve the needy – but as a doctor.
Rijul took admission in Allen Kota after 10th. After clearing scholarship exams ASAT and TALLENTEX, he started studying at Allen the very next day of the final paper of ICSE board. Initially uncomfortable, but with Allen’s supportive classroom culture and guidance from teachers, he was able to adjust quickly.
He used to make separate routines for monthly minor tests and major tests. Allen’s doubt classes strengthened his concepts further.
Rijul says that the experience of the operation taught him that the body also has its limits. He would take a 15-20 minute break every day to keep himself mentally fresh. This balance helped him maintain consistency in his studies.
As April drew closer, the old fears returned — “Will I be able to do it?”
But Rijul kept revising himself again and again with his Silly Mistakes booklet, short notes, and Allen’s previous year question papers.
On the day of the exam, Rijul and his twin brother reached the exam centre together. They started with Biology, then Chemistry, then Biology again and finally Physics.
When they saw the first Physics question, which was of JEE Advanced level, they got tensed for a while. But then they remembered — becoming a doctor means not just knowledge, but also mental balance.
They composed themselves, reviewed the questions and finished the entire exam confidently.
After the exam, he felt that the paper did not go well. But when ALLEN’s answer key came, hope arose after seeing the score. And then came that day – the result of NEET 2025.
Rijul and his twin brother both got excellent ranks. This moment was very emotional for the family, village and himself.
This journey of Rijul Jain is an inspiration for millions of students who are on the verge of giving up at some point. When the body does not cooperate, the power of the mind has to be awakened – this is what he did.
His story tells that the most difficult turns of life can become the biggest inspiration.
