Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday announced that from the upcoming academic session, the National Testing Agency (NTA) would start conducting NEET, JEE (Main) and NET entrance exams, which are currently organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The syllabus and the pattern of question paper would remain the same, so will the fees.

All the tests (UGC- NET, JEE (Main) & NEET (UG)) will be conducted in multiple sitting and the candidate will have an option of dates to choose from. Also, all these exams would be computer-based and that students can practice at home or at authorized computer centers free of cost.
“Schools/engineering colleges with computer centers would be identified and kept open on Saturday/Sunday starting from 3rd week of August. Any student can use the facility free of charge”, a press release by the ministry said.
NEET (UG) in Feb 2019 and May 2019

Each exam will be conducted on four to five dates.
According to the report, the format would be protected from cheating and leaks since it’s computer-based as the NTA module doesn’t allow screen-sharing. These examinations will use highly secured IT software and encryption to ensure delivery of tests just in time.
“All the above-mentioned examinations will be held in existing number of languages”, Javadekar added.
