Admission Process Begins for 2,678 MBBS and 728 BDS Seats
The Rajasthan Medical and Dental Admission Counselling Board released the seat matrix for the second round of NEET UG 2025 State Quota Counselling. The admission process will cover a total of 3,406 seats in government and private medical and dental colleges. This includes 2,678 MBBS seats and 728 BDS seats.
The seat matrix released by the counselling board is categorized. According to career counseling expert of ALLEN Career Institute, seats in government and private medical colleges are clearly demarcated.
This will provide candidates with a wide range of options for both MBBS and BDS courses.
According to a notification issued by the counselling Board, the fee structure for NRI students has been reduced following the approval of the State Cabinet. Previously, NRI students had to spend approximately ₹1.40 crore for medical courses, which has now been reduced to approximately ₹1.08 crore.
The NRI fee for medical colleges run by Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC), which was previously around ₹3.1 million per year, has now been reduced to approximately ₹2.393 million per year.
This decision will also enable NRI students from outside the state to easily obtain admission in Rajasthan.
Fee rates for general admission seats in many private medical colleges in Rajasthan range from ₹2.1 million to ₹2.5 million per year.
Fees for management quota seats range from ₹2.7 million to ₹3.0 million per year. Consequently, candidates seeking admission to private colleges will need to be financially prepared.
The second round of counseling is crucial for students who did not secure their desired college or course in the first round.
Sometimes, even high-ranking students wait for the second round to find better options. This year’s seat matrix will provide candidates with more options, and the seat allocation process will be more balanced.
Career Counseling Expert says that the new fee and seat structure released by the Rajasthan Medical and Dental Admission Board is a relief for students. While government college seats are limited, the increased number of seats and reduced fee structure in private colleges will allow deserving students to complete their studies.
The dates for registration, choice filling, and seat allotment for the second round will be released by the counseling board on the official portal. After seat allocation, candidates will be required to report and undergo document verification within the stipulated timeframe.
The second round of Rajasthan NEET UG 2025 State Quota Counselling will be conducted for admission to 3,406 MBBS and BDS seats.
The reduction in NRI fees and a clearer distribution of the seat matrix will provide new opportunities for students. Experts believe that this time, more candidates will have the opportunity to gain admission to the college of their choice.
This update is important for all candidates preparing for NEET UG 2025. With the right strategy and timely registration, candidates can gain better opportunities.
