Along with the Provisional Answer Key, Scanned Images of OMR Sheet & Recorded Response have also been Released
The National Testing Agency has uploaded the NEET UG 2024 Provisional Answer Key, Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheet and Recorded Responses on the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET for candidates to challenge.
National Testing Agency conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2024 for more than 24 lakh candidates at 4750 different Centres located in 571 Cities throughout the country including 14 Cities outside India on 05 May 2024 (Sunday) from 02:00 P.M. to 05:20 P.M. (IST).

To facilitate the candidates, a scanned image of the OMR Answer Sheet has been sent on the registered e-mail address given by the Candidates at the time of submission of the Online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2024.
Candidates are being given an opportunity to make an online challenge against the provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per answer challenged.
Candidates can also submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per question challenged. The aspirants can challenge the OMR till 11.50 pm on 31 May.
The payment of the processing fee may be made through, Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking by 31 May 2024 (upto 11:50 P.M.). No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The Challenges will not be accepted through any other mode.
Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject Experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly.

Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 31 May 2024 (upto 11:50 P.M.).

Procedure for Challenge of NEET UG 2024 Answer Key
- Please go to website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
- Click ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge (s)’.
- Select the Test Booklet Code.
- Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter Security Pin as displayed and submit.
- You will see the following Questions are in sequential order: NEET (UG) – 2024 50+50+50+50 Questions Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology
- The number next to the Question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the Most appropriate Answer Key to be used by the NTA.
- If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Options given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
- You may want to upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).
- After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET(UG) – 2024 ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen.
- You will see a screen displaying your challenges.
- Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
- Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee @ ₹ 200/- for each Question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
- After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt.

Procedure for Challenge of NEET 2024 OMR Answer Sheet Grading and Recorded Responses
- Please go to the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET
- Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter Security Pin as displayed and submit.
- Select the “OMR Challenge” in the left pane.
- Click on the OMR Challenge Link.
- You will see the following Questions are in sequential order: NEET (UG) – 2024 50+50+50+50 Questions Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology
- Select Question(s) for which you wish to challenge the Recorded Response.
- The number next to the Question under the column ‘Captured Response as per OMR Sheet’ stands for the option opted by the Candidates in the OMR Answer Sheets.
- Once you select any Question for Challenge, you will see three options under the column ‘Candidate’s Claim’.
- If you wish to challenge this option, you may use the Options given in the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column.
- After clicking your desired option, for Physics / Chemistry / Botany /Zoology for NEET (UG) – 2024, scroll down, ‘Submit’, and move to the next screen.
- You will see a screen displaying your challenges.
- Click on ‘Submit’ and Pay Fee Finally’.
- Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee @ ₹ 200/- for each question
