Advance City Information Slip Released on Official Website
Career Counseling Expert of Allen Career Institute, said that in the city information slip issued for this exam to be held on May 4, only the name of the city has been announced, information about the test center will be given in the admit card issued on May 1, 2025.
Candidates can view their examination city by entering their registration number and password, along with this, if their center of examination city is somewhere else, then they can prepare in advance by train bus or any other means.
So far more than 23 lakh students have applied for this examination to be held on May 4. If we talk about the ratio of students in medical science, then more than 55 percent of the estimated applications have been made by girls.
This examination is for 1 lakh 18 thousand 190 MBBS, 26 thousand dental seats. If the seats of Unani, Homeopathic, Veterinary, Ayurveda and Nursing are also added to it then the total seats come around 2.40 lakh.-
Important changes in Exam Format
Important changes have been made in the question paper format of NEET UG 2025 exam. The time duration of the exam has been changed.
Earlier from NEET UG 2021 to NEET UG 2024, the question paper used to be of 3 hours 20 minutes but now it will be of 3 hours.
From NEET UG 2021 to NEET UG 2024, there were 200 questions in the question paper, in which the question paper was divided into section A and section B. Section A had 35 questions of Physics, 35 questions of Chemistry and 70 questions of Biology (Botany and Zoology).
Section B had 15 questions of Physics, 15 questions of Chemistry and 30 questions of Biology (Botany and Zoology). In section B, candidates had the option to attempt any 10 out of 15 questions of Physics, any 10 out of 15 questions of Chemistry and any 20 out of 30 questions of Biology (Botany and Zoology), but now according to this uploaded notice, the question paper has returned to the format of NEET UG 2020 or earlier.
Now again NEET UG 2025 will have 180 questions. There will be no section A and section B and all questions will be compulsory.
There will be 45 questions of Physics, 45 questions of Chemistry and 90 questions of Biology (Botany and Zoology).
