NEET UG 2025 Paper was the Most Difficult Paper in the history of NEET so far
The country’s largest medical entrance exam NEET UG 2025 was conducted by the National Testing Agency in offline pen-paper mode on Sunday, 4 May. Dr. Brajesh Maheshwari, Director, ALLEN Career Institute Private Limited, said that the NEET UG 2025 paper was the most difficult in the history of NEET UG exam so far.
The questions were asked in a very tricky way. It will be difficult for students to score high. The pre-Covid paper pattern has been implemented in the exam. In such a situation, the cutoff is likely to be low.
Students connected to ALLEN Mega Live Stream ALLEN Career Institute organized an ALLEN Mega Live Stream event for the students who appeared in the NEET-UG 2025 exam.
Here, immediately after the paper, ALLEN ‘s Director Dr. Brajesh Maheshwari and ALLEN Expert Faculty discussed all the questions of the paper one by one. Live answer key, video solutions, paper analysis were released. This live reached millions of students through various mediums.
Compared to NEET 2024, the Physics paper in NEET 2025 was quite difficult and lengthy. However, all the questions were covered from Allen modules and class notes. 22 questions came from class 11th syllabus and 23 questions from class 12th syllabus.
This year one question has come from Experimental Skills. 15 questions were asked from Mechanics, four from Thermal Physics, three from SHM Waves, 13 from Electrodynamics, four from Optics and six from Modern Physics and Electronics. A total of 45 questions were asked single correct. There is confusion in one question.
This year the paper was very tough and lengthy as compared to the last few years. 16 questions were asked from Physical Chemistry, 12 from Inorganic Chemistry and 17 from Organic Chemistry. 22 questions were asked from the syllabus of class 11th and 23 from the syllabus of class 12th.
Nine questions of Physical Chemistry, five from Inorganic Chemistry and eight from Organic Chemistry were asked from the syllabus of class 11th. Whereas seven questions of Physical Chemistry, seven from Inorganic Chemistry and nine from Organic Chemistry were asked from the syllabus of class 12th.
If we talk about the pattern of questions, then 35 questions were single correct. While one question of Assertion Reasoning, three of Statement Type and six of Match the Column were asked. There is confusion about one question.
The paper was very long and complicated. However, all the questions were covered from Allen study material and classroom notes. A total of 90 questions were asked.
Out of which 40 questions were asked from class 11th and 50 from class 12th. 10.6 percent less questions were asked from class 11th syllabus as compared to NEET 2024. Whereas 11.6 percent more questions were asked from class 12th syllabus as compared to NEET 2024.
Some questions were also asked from outside NCERT. There is confusion among the children about about four to five questions.
