NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2025, which tests the hopes and dreams of lakhs of students every year, was conducted peacefully on May 4.
Now the next step for the students appearing in the exam is to wait for the answer key, OMR sheet and result.
According to the experts, the OMR sheets and recorded answers of the students can be released later this month, probably after 25 May.
Along with this, the provisional answer key will also be available on the website soon, so that students can estimate their marks.
This time around 23 lakh students registered for NEET UG 2025, which is one of the largest numbers ever.
According to Career Counselling Experts of ALLEN, the pattern of the AIPMT exam was different a decade ago. In 2010, the paper had a total of 480 marks, with the top score being around 450.
But now the total score of the paper in NEET is 720 marks. In the last two years, some students have created history by scoring 720 out of 720 marks.
Rajasthan has made rapid progress in the field of medical education. While there were only 22 medical colleges in the state in 2019-20, their number has increased to 35 in 2023-24.
Due to this, Rajasthan has now become one of the top 10 states in the country in terms of MBBS seats.
At present, 780 medical colleges are operating in the country, in which a total of 1,18,190 MBBS seats are available. In addition, 27,618 seats for BDS, 55,851 seats for AYUSH courses, and about 2 lakh seats in BSc Nursing are available for students.
The Final Result of the NEET Exam is likely to be released by mid-June. After this, students will have to participate in the counseling process, in which their score, rank and state quota play an important role.
NEET UG is not only an exam, but also the first step in the medical career of lakhs of youth.
In the coming weeks, the most important thing for the students will be to check their answers, estimate the possible score and prepare a counseling strategy.
