Along with the Result, Final Answer Key of NEET UG 2025 Exam has also been Released
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the result of the NEET UG 2025 along with the final answer key. The NEET UG 2025 result has been released on the official website of NEET UG, www.neet.nta.nic.in. The aspirant will have to enter their roll number and date of birth for retrieving the result.
The provisional answer key and recorded responses of the candidates were released on 3 June and now NEET UG 2025 final answer key along with the result has been released. Along with the scoreboard, All India Ranks, cut-offs and information about counseling qualified students have also been announced.
The NTA had conducted the NEET UG 2025 examination on 4 May in which around 23 lakh aspirants participated. The NEET UG 2025 examination was conducted at 5468 examination centres across 552 cities in India and 14 cities outside of India. The exam was held completely in pen and paper mode.
This exam was held for a total of 2.50 lakh seats of medical courses including 118190 seats of 780 medical colleges of MBBS, 27618 seats of 323 colleges of BDS, 55851 seats of AYUSH courses (BAMS, BHMS, BYMS, BUMS) and BVSc and selected BSc nursing colleges.

- Click on Submit

Cut Off Fell by 18 Marks this Year as Compared to Last Year
Career counselling expert of Allen Career Institute said that according to the data, the qualifying cut off of NEET UG 2025 for General and EWS category has seen a fall of 18 marks, which has fallen from 162 marks to 144 marks as compared to last year 2024. In the year 2025, there is also a fall of 14 marks in the qualifying cut off of OBC, SC, ST category. The qualifying cut off of OBC, SC, ST category has come down from 127 marks to 113 marks. The biggest reason for this is that this year’s question paper is the most difficult in the last 10 years. The decrease in the qualifying cut off is also due to the candidates not being able to attempt the question paper completely. This year, the Physics paper is seen playing an important role in determining the selection and ranks of any candidate.

1236531 lakh students qualified
A record 1236531 students have qualified in the NEET UG 2025 exam result. According to the data released last year, the number of students qualifying this year has been 79322 less than in NEET UG 2024 which was 1315853. This year the number of candidates registered in NEET UG 2025 is 2276069 and 2209318 candidates appeared in the exam and 66751 were absent, whereas last year in 2024 the number of registered candidates was 2406079 and 2333162 candidates appeared in the exam and 72917 were absent. This year, the number of registered candidates was also 130010 less than in 2024. This year NEET UG 2025 entrance exam was conducted at 5468 examination centres while NEET UG 2024 entrance exam was conducted at 4750 examination centres, examination centres were also increased to facilitate the movement of candidates.
Maximum 1822410 candidates were from English medium and lowest 943 candidates attempted NEET UG 2025 paper in Urdu medium. If we look at the calculation of gender ratio, this year also female candidates won, among the qualified candidates. There were 722462 female candidates and 514063 male candidates, 06 transgender candidates also qualified in this entrance exam.
In terms of the number of candidates in NEET UG 2025 exam, Uttar Pradesh was at the top where 341491 candidates were registered and 333088 appeared and 170684 qualified, the lowest was Lakshadweep Union Territory where 260 candidates were registered and 236 appeared and 154 qualified. In Rajasthan 180637 candidates were registered and 176181 appeared and 119865 qualified.
What Next
After the declaration of NEET UG Result 2025, counseling will be conducted for college allocation, the notification of which will be released by the Medical Counseling Committee at the national level/and State Medical Counseling Committee at the state level on their official website.
