The Application process for NEET UG 2025 is underway and the Last Date for Application is 7 March 11.50 pm
The application process for NTA’s entrance exam “NEET UG” 2025 for admission in medical institutions is going on. About six lakh applications have been received for NEET UG 2025 Examination.
The candidate can apply only through online mode. The website for application process are https://nta.ac.in/ and https://neet.nta.nic.in/
The exam will be held on May 4 in pen-paper mode in 25 cities of the state and 566 cities of the country. The duration of exam will be 180 minutes (3 hours) from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Application Details
The online submission of Application form is from 7 February to 7 March 2025 (up to 11.50 pm). The last date of successful transaction of fee is 7 March 2025 up to 11.50 pm.
While the aspirants will be able to do correction in particulars in the application form from 9 March to 11 March.
The fees payable by candidates is Rs. 1700 for General category, Rs. 1600 for General EWS/OBC-NCL and Rs. 1000 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender. The fees for the outside India aspirants is Rs. 9500 for all categories.
Candidate has to upload recent photograph, address proof, scanned signatures, etc.
Details NEET UG 2025 Exam Details
The announcement of city intimation slip will be done on 26 April 2025 while the admit card will be issued on 1 May 2025. Information about the Display of recorded responses and answer key will be intimated later on the website. The result will be declared on 14 June 2025.
NEET UG is a gateway for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in the medical colleges across the country. As per the notification of the NTA earlier, the NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in the traditional pen and paper mode. The NEET UG 2025 examination paper will now be 3 hour (180 minutes) long.
NTA has already revised the NEET UG 2025 Exam format in the past. The Section B of the NEET UG 2025 has been removed and now there will be no Section B in the NEET UG 2025 Exam.
The NEET UG 2025 Examination paper will have total 180 questions which all will be mandatory. While there will be 45 questions each in Physics and Chemistry paper, total 90 questions will be asked from Biology paper.
NTA will also send Final Score Card
This time NTA will also send the final score card of NEET UG 2025. For this, it is necessary to give the mobile number and e-mail of the parents during the application. The final score card will also be sent to them.
Increase in centres is also possible in Kota
Career counselling expert of ALLEN Career Institute said that NEET UG 2025 exam will be held in 25 cities of the state. There were 46 centres in Kota city in the year 2023 which were increased to 60 in the year 2024.
This time the centres can increase further considering the number of applications. The entrance exam will be held in 13 languages including English, Hindi, and Urdu.
The centre will open three hours earlier
According to the guidelines of NTA, this exam will be held on May 4 in the afternoon. The exam duration will be three hours from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The exam centre will be opened three hours before the commencement of the exam. No student will be allowed to enter the centre after 1:30 pm.

Aspirants should fill only one application form and take utmost care while filling the mobile number and e-mail address. Students should use only one mobile number and e-mail address in the application.
