All India MCC NEET-UG Counselling 2025: Special Stray Vacancy Round Seat Allotment Released

Candidates who Participated in this Round Can Now Check Their Sllotment Status Online

The All India Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the seat allotment for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of the All India 15% Quota Counselling being conducted as part of NEET UG 2025. The seat allotment was published on the MCC’s official website on Tuesday afternoon. Candidates who participated in this round can now check their allotment status online.

MBBS Course: Closing Ranks for All India 15% Quota

According to Career Counselling Expert at Allen Career Institute, the closing ranks for various categories in the All India 15% Quota for MBBS courses were as follows:

 General Category: 27,360

 EWS Category: 30,921

 OBC Category: 27,421

 SC Category: 1,39,123

Information on Available Seats at AIIMS

A total of two seats were available at AIIMS in the Special Stray Vacancy Round. The closing ranks were as follows:

AIIMS Jammu (SC Category): 1,35,568

AIIMS Gorakhpur (OBC PwBD): 12,27,396

These Government Medical Colleges Became the Final Choice of Candidates

The following Government Medical Colleges emerged as the final choices of candidates from different categories in the Special Stray Vacancy Round:

  • General Category: Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences, Pawapuri, Nalanda (Bihar)
  • OBC Category: Late. Baliram Kashyap Memorial Government Medical College, Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh)
  • EWS Category: Stanley Medical College, Chennai (Tamil Nadu)

Reporting Process and Important Instructions

Candidates allotted a college under the Special Stray Vacancy Round are required to report to the college in person.

Candidates must download their seat allotment letter from the official MCC website, which has been made available on their registration portal. Afterward, between December 24th and December 31st, within the deadlines set by MCC, candidates must:

  • Appear in person at the allotted college
  • Report with all original documents and the prescribed fees
  • Failure to report within the stipulated deadline may result in seat cancellation.

The Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling for NEET UG 2025 is the last opportunity for students who were unable to secure a seat in the earlier rounds. All such candidates are advised to download their allotment letter well in advance and report to the college within the stipulated dates to secure their seat. It is important to regularly monitor the official notifications available on the MCC website.
