Medical Seat Matrix – 12545 MBBS seats in Karnataka, 6476 in Rajasthan, 5200 in MP and 2995 in Bihar
The result of NEET UG 2025 has been released. Under NEET UG, 85 percent of the seats in medical colleges are admitted under the state quota and 15 percent under the central quota. In such a situation, students of those states will get more benefit, where there are more MBBS seats.
According to the merit list of past years, every year a large number of students from Rajasthan tops in the NEET UG Examination. The number of seats is highest in the states of the south. In such a situation, South Indian students get seats in government colleges under the state quota.
If the students from South have a good rank in the central quota, they can get admission in their state from there as well. According to the information, currently Karnataka has the highest number of MBBS seats, 12545.
On the other hand, in NEET PG, this quota is 50-50 percent. That is, at the PG level, 50 percent seats are given on the basis of central quota and 50 percent seats are given on the basis of state quota.
This year the level of NEET was quite difficult. Last year many students had scored 720 out of 720 marks. The number of students securing more than 700 marks is also likely to be very limited this time. In such a situation, the competition for the top rank may be more than before.
