NIT IIIT CSAB Counseling 2024: Important Dates and Opportunities

Registration and Choice Filling for CSAB Special Round Counseling from 31 July 10 AM

After the JoSAA counselling 2024 of IIT-NIT, CSAB is conducting two special rounds of counseling between 31 July and 21 August for the vacant seats of 98 top engineering institutes including NIT-IIIT.

The registration and choice filling for these special rounds of counselling will start from 10 am on 31 July. Students can do choice filling till 5 pm on 3 August. The first allotment will be released on 5 August. Information about the vacant seats of NIT-IIIT has been released.

Golden Opportunity for Students Seeking Board Improvement

Students, who were previously left out of JoSAA counselling 2024 for not fulfilling their board eligibility, now if they have completed their board eligibility through board improvement or re-evaluation, then they can, participate in CSAB counseling on the basis of their new mark sheet.

This is a golden opportunity for these students to get admission in NIT IIIT. In the choice filling of CSAB special round counselling, students should fill as many college choices as possible according to their interest, because the seat matrix released on the website will be only estimated.

There is a possibility of more seats remaining vacant than this. Also, if students who were allotted any college seat in JoSAA counseling are participating in special round counseling and they do not get a better college seat than the one they got, then the college seat allotted to them in JoSAA counseling will be re-allocated.

In such a case, these students should fill their priority list by keeping only those college branches which are better than their previously allotted JoSAA college seat because if they are allotted a new college branch in CSAB counseling, then their previous JoSAA seat will be cancelled and the newly allotted college seat will be considered final.
