Rajasthan University of Health Sciences & Marwar Medical University have taken this decision recently
The National Testing Agency is conducting the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG), which is country’s biggest medical entrance exam. There is big news for the candidates of Rajasthan regarding NEET UG Exam.
Now admissions in the courses of B.Sc. Nursing, Physiotherapy and Lab Technician Training in Paramedical in Rajasthan will also be available through NEET UG. This decision has been taken by Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) and Marwar Medical University (MMU).
The separate examination to be conducted earlier for these courses will not be taken now.
According to the notification issued by RUHS and MMU, admission will be given in Bachelor of Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Radiation Technology (BRT) in Paramedical UG Course and Bachelor of Medical Lab Technology (B.Sc. MLT) courses through NEET UG Exam.
For admission in these courses, National Testing Agency will give admission through online counselling on merit cum choice basis only after All India Rank.
To take admission in these courses, interested candidates will have to appear for NEET UG 2025 exam. After the result of NEET UG, the university will release the information about counseling.
However, it has also been told in this notification that apart from these courses, admission will be given in the remaining UG and PG courses through online counseling on the basis of marks obtained in the examination conducted at the university level.
RUHS and MMU have also issued notification for admission in these courses through NEET UG. However, candidates have got very little time for this, because the applications for NEET UG of National Testing Agency started from 7 February.
Only after this they took the decision and now only three days are left for the application to end. This notification has also been issued by RUHS on 28 February, while Marwar University of Health Sciences has taken the decision on 1 March.
Also, the notification has been issued on 1 March itself. On the other hand, National Testing Agency has also denied any extension of the application date for NEET UG. They had also issued a notification.
