NEET UG 2024 Exam – NTA Refutes Paper Leak Claims, Conducts Retest

There were Claims of Paper Leak of NEET UG 2024 on Social Media on Sunday

Amidst the claims of Paper Leak of NEET UG 2024 Examination on social media, NTA has refused to admit claims of NEET UG Examination Paper leak during the NEET UG 2024 Exam on Sunday.

NTA’s statement has arrived in view of the incident at NEET UG 2024 examination centre Girls Higher Secondary Model School, Mandir, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, there was an incident of incorrect distribution of question papers by the Center Superintendent. Despite efforts by invigilators to prevent it, some candidates left the examination center with question papers.

However, the NTA maintained that apart from this isolated incident, the NEET (UG) 2024 examination commenced smoothly and was conducted peacefully at all other examination centers across the country. The exam was held at 557 cities across India and 14 cities abroad.

NTA Addresses Incident & Ensures Fairness in NEET UG 2024 Exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) in its public notice has stated it is committed to ensuring the integrity and fairness of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG) examination, held annually for medical aspirants across the country. NTA would like to address concerns regarding the conduct of the NEET (UG) 2024 examination.

In its public notice, NTA informed that “During the NEET (UG) 2024 examination, it came to the attention of the NTA that at one examination center, Girls Higher Secondary Model School, Mandir, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, there was an incident of incorrect distribution of question papers by the Center Superintendent”.

The NTA emphasizes that this incident has not compromised the integrity of the examination process at other centers. In order to uphold the principles of fairness and equal opportunity for all candidates, the NTA has taken proactive measures.

The examination of approximately 120 affected candidates from the Girls Higher Secondary Model School examination center was conducted on Sunday, 5 May 2024, ensuring that their academic aspirations are not hindered by this incident.

The NTA reaffirms its commitment to conducting examinations with transparency, integrity, and fairness. We extend our best wishes to all NEET (UG) 2024 candidates and assure them of our continued support throughout the examination process.

The NEET UG 2024 was conducted in a single shift, from 2:00 pm to 5:20 pm. Approximately 24 lakh students took the NEET UG 2024 exam.
