Practical Exam Guidelines and SOPs Released for CBSE Board Exam 2025

CBSE has Issued the Guidelines and SOPs in the Board exams to ensure a Fair Test

“Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)” were issued by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) regarding practical examinations, projects and internal assessments for classes 10 and 12.

Important Features:

• Period of Examinations: The practical examinations will be held between January 1 to February 14, 2025.
• Deal with Misbehavior: All cases of mal-practices during the examinations would be strictly dealt with and reported.

Common Directives:

• The practical examinations, assignments and internal examinations will only be conducted according to syllabi guidelines, available on CBSE Academic website: cbseacademic.nic.in,
• All these grades need to be uploaded at the time of actual conduction of the examinations, well within the period of actual examinations.
• Misconduct cases such as attempting to influence examiners or getting an undue advantage, shall be reported with proofs to the Regional Office. In this case, incidents would fall under unfair means (UFM) and there will be stern action.

Instructions for Practical Exams for Class 10

• In class 10, there won’t be any appointment of external examiners by the CBSE, and practical answer books will not be provided by the board
• Schools shall themselves arrange all the required material and resources.
• Answer books of class 10 practical exams or projects are not to be mailed to CBSE regional offices.
