Complete Information About Seat Matrix, Choice Filling and Seat Allotment Released
Rajasthan NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission Counselling Board, Jaipur released the provisional seat matrix for the second round Counselling of state level medical and dental colleges on Tuesday morning. Thousands of candidates across the state were waiting for this announcement, because on this basis they will get the next chances of admission in MBBS and BDS courses.
Career Counselling Expert, ALLEN Career Institute, Kota said that this seat matrix has been released category wise. It includes 2511 seats of MBBS and 724 seats of BDS.
MBBS Seat Details
As per the Seat Matrix:
Total Seats in Government Medical Colleges: 1048
- Government Quota Seats – 557
- Government Management Quota Seats – 121
- NRI Quota Seats – 370
Total Seats in Private Medical Colleges: 1463
- General Quota Seats – 1159
- Management Quota Seats – 304
- BDS Seat Details
Total Seats in Government Dental Colleges: 60
Seats in Private Dental Colleges:
- General Seats – 550
- Management Quota Seats – 114
- Resignation and New Seat Matrix
The seat position will change after the resignation of the candidates admitted in the first round (if a student wishes to leave his/her seat). Based on this, the new seat matrix will be released again on September 19.
Choice Filling and Auto Lock Process
- Choice Filling Dates: 19 September to 22 September
- Candidates have to enter their choices online.
- Choices filled by 11:45 pm on 22 September will be automatically auto-locked.
Seat Allotment and Document Verification
- Seat Allotment Result: Counselling Board will declare it on its official website on 25 September.
- Document Verification and Reporting:
- Dates – 26 September to 30 September
- Venue – Academic Block, Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur
- Students will be required to appear in person with their original documents and security deposit slip.
New Colleges Included for the First Time
This time many new colleges are participating for the first time in the state quota counselling:
- Government Medical College – Tonk and Jaisalmer
- Government Dental College – Jodhpur
- Private Medical College –
- Balveer Singh Tomar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Jaipur
- Geetanjali Institute of Medical Sciences, Jaipur
The addition of these institutes will provide more opportunities for admission to the students.
The release of the seat matrix for the second round of Rajasthan NEET UG 2025 State Quota counselling will help students decide their strategy. Candidates should do choice filling within the stipulated time limit and keep the documents ready.
Since new medical and dental colleges are also joining the process this time, the opportunities for students to get a seat will be higher than before.
