Rajasthan State Quota Second Round Counseling Choice Filling Begins
Rajasthan NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission Counseling Board Jaipur on Friday released a new merit list for admission to medical and dental college seats. The choice filling process for MBBS and BDS seat allotment has also started.
This process will run from 20 to 24 September. The registered candidates of the first round will also have to submit the choice afresh because their submitted choice of the first round counseling will automatically be canceled.
The candidates who got the college in the first round and have sought approval of their willingness for college upgrade will also have to fill the choice afresh.
According to the Career Counselling Expert of ALLEN Career Institute, 2285 seats of MBBS in government and private sector medical colleges and 712 seats of dental college have been announced in Rajasthan.
There are 1150 MBBS seats in government medical colleges, which include 534 government seats, 240 government management seats and 376 NRI quota MBBS seats.
There are a total of 1135 MBBS seats in private medical colleges, which include 890 general seats and 245 management quota MBBS seats. Similarly, there are 18 BDS seats in government dental colleges.
There are 586 BDS general seats and 108 management BDS seats in private dental colleges.
The choices submitted by the students will be auto-locked at 11:55 pm on September 24. The information about the second round of allotment will be released on September 27.
After this, students will be able to print the online allotment letter between September 28 and October 5. Students will have to appear in the Academic Block SMS Medical College Jaipur with their original certificates between September 28 and October 5.
