RBSE changes timings for two question papers of Class 12 exam

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released important information regarding the Class 10th and 12th board exams. The board has made minor changes to the previously released exam schedule. This change specifically concerns the exam timings for two Class 12 subjects.

The Rajasthan Board’s Class 10th and 12th exams begin on February 12th. Ahead of the exams, the board has revised the timetables for two question papers, providing relief to students and school administrations.

Exam timings changed for these two subjects

The two Class 12th exam timings for which the Rajasthan Board has changed the exam timings include Computer Science/Informatics Practice and Painting. Exams for these two subjects were previously scheduled to be held in the morning shift, but will now be held in the afternoon shift.

 New Exam Date and Time

February 17, 2026 – Computer Science/Informatics Practice

February 24, 2026 – Painting

The new timings for both exams are now 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

Full Duration of 10th and 12th Exams

Class 10th Exams: February 12th to February 28th

Total Duration: 17 days

Class 12th Exams: February 12th to March 10th

Total Duration: 28 days

Nearly 20 Lakh Students Will Appear

A total of 19,86,422 students will appear in the Rajasthan Board exams this year. The figures by class and course are as follows:

Class 10th: 1,068,610 students

Class 12th: 9,00,572 students

Senior Upadhyay: 4,123 students

Entrance: 7,817 students

For the successful conduct of the exams, 6,193 examination centres have been set up across the state.

Important advice for students

Students with exams on February 17th and 24th should plan their preparation and travel based on the new timings. It is crucial to arrive at the exam centre on time and remember the new time slot.
