Sarathi Abhiyan For Positivity & Better Caring Of Students in Career City

ASWS Took Initiative With The Help Of District Administration & Police

In order to increase the positivity in Career City Kota and to improve the level of caring, better care of the students will now be taken at the level of hostels. Sarathi Abhiyan has been started by All Students Welfare Society (ASWS) in collaboration with District Administration and Police Department in the city.

The initiative was launched with 500 Sarathi Abhiyan sessions held at Sadgun Auditorium, Allen Samyak Campus in Landmark City. Hostel Director, Warden, Manager and people associated with the students participated in these sessions. City Superintendent of Police, Kota, Sharad Chaudhary was the chief guest. District Administration’s Nodal Officer Gajendra Singh, and Allen’s Principal Psychologist Dr. Harish Sharma were the special guests.

City Superintendent of Police, Kota, Sharad Chowdhary said that Kota is famous for good education across the country. We have to understand that these are small children who have left their families and come to us, hence, we have to take care of them as a family.

They have to be taken care of and it has to be understood that they should not get stressed over small things. If care is taken through hostels, then we will be able to do better monitoring.

Nodal Officer RAS Gajendra Singh said that student interest should be paramount. Let us ask ourselves whether the behavior we do with the students is appropriate. It is the responsibility of all of you to be careful, pay attention to the facilities of the students, and take seriously whatever commitments are made by hostels to children or parents. Most of the complaints received by the district administration on the student portal are related to hostels. We have to handle every child responsibly, talk to them. They have to be taken care of.

Action Plan Drawn

Regarding the Sarathi Abhiyan session, ALLEN’s Principal Psychologist Dr. Harish Sharma said that a team of 25 expert psychologist counsellors has been formed with the aim of understanding the problems of students, providing facilities at hostels according to their psychology.

A team of 8 to 10 members comprising team members, CPOs and counsellors from All Students Welfare Society will visit each hostel. The team will give training to the hostel warden and other members associated with the management. Interaction with the students will be done and they will be informed to keep a tab on the change in the behavior of their fellow students.

The facilities in each room will be checked. Suggestions will be given to the hostels regarding improvement. This session will be of about 45 minutes. The mobile/telephone numbers of the Team members will be given to deal with any situation. If any matter comes to the fore, the team will reach the spot with the cooperation of police and administration and try to find a solution.
