Once again ALLEN proved its unparallel Excellence in International Olympiad. 2 Classroom students of ALLEN Career Institute have made the country proud by bagging 1 Gold & 1 Silver Medal in 50th International Physics Olympiad.
Director of ALLEN Career Institute Sh. Brajesh Maheshwari said, Kaustubh Dighe and Nishant Abhangi, ALLEN Classroom students were selected in the National Team of 5 to Represent India in 50th International Physics Olympiad.
This team was announced on the basis of their performance in Orientation Cum Selection Camp held at The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Mumbai. The team had undergone rigorous Pre-Departure Training programme, in which they were trained for the Olympiad.
Nishant Abhangi won the gold medal while Kaustubh Dighe won the silver medal in IPhO 2019 which as held in Tel Aviv, Israel from 7th to 15th July 2019.
The International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) is an annual competition in physics for high school students, which involves individual theoretical and experimental contests in Physics.
During the Physics Olympiad, students exchange ideas with others in a friendly atmosphere. Thus, the seeds of cooperation and friendship among students from all over the world are planted during the event.
International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) follows 5 stages-
Stage I: NSEP- National Standard Examination in Physics
Stage II: INPhO- Indian National Physics Olympiad
Stage III: OCSC- The Orientation cum Selection Camp in Physics
Stage IV: PDT- Pre-departure Training Camp for IPhO
Stage V: IPhO- Participation in International Physics Olympiad
