Students of Allen Career Institute bagged Top 3 AIR in KVPY 2017-18

Incredible result by ALLEN in “Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna” (KVPY 2017-18)

ALLEN Kota is proving its supremacy time and again. ALLEN has achieved great success in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna” (KVPY 2017-18) organized by Dept. of Science and Technology. Students of ALLEN Career Institute bagged all TOP-3 positions in the exam and made another record.

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Programme of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science. In the results of level 11th and 12th Class, ALLEN students have bagged total 10 ranks in SA and SX. A total of 433 students have been selected from the institute.

Director Sh. Brajesh Maheshwari said that ALLEN students have proved superiority in the results. In the results of Class 11, institute’s student Nishant Abhangi, made all of us proud by securing AIR-1.  Dhyey Sankalp Gandhi secured AIR-2, whereas AIR-3 is bagged by Rajdeep Singh Dhingra.  Along with this Sumanyu Mahajan got 7th and Ayushman Tripathy got 10th Rank. 5 out of the top 10 ranks in grade SA is secured by ALLEN Classroom programme students.

In the SX results of class 12, Yash Gupta of ALLEN bagged AIR-4, Vishwesh Milind secured 5th and Bhaskar Gupta 6th position. Whereas Akhil Tambi got 8th and Amulya Gupta 9th position respectively. Henceforth 10 ALLEN students are in the top 10 position among 20 students in SA and SX Grade.

Selection of 433 students

Maheshwari said, a large number of students got success in KVPY stage 2. Total 433 students are selected out of which 384 are from the classroom and 49 are from Distance learning programme of ALLEN. As compared to last year the selection growth increased by 40%. Last year, 300 ALLEN students were selected. KVPY is a National Level Fellowship Scholarship Programme that is organized every year. Under the scheme, the Government of India encourages the students to move forward in the field of science and research under the Department of Science and Technology.

All India topper of KVPY-2018 Nishant Abhangi said that in order to achieve his goal he focused on classroom coaching and also revised the syllabus of 10th standard. Earlier he has been honoured with National Child Award from Hon’ble President of India Sh.Ramnath Kovind. Nishant is a gold medallist in the 13th International Junior Science Olympiad. He was among the rankers in the National Standard Examination in Astronomy. Nishant was also selected to participate in 11th International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics conducted by Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education, Govt of India and he secured the award of Excellence in The Australian National Chemistry Quiz. He also achieved 1st position in TECHNICHE, 2016 organized by IIT, Guwahati. Nishant hails from Rajkot, his father is a businessman and mother is a homemaker.
