IRIS is a research based science initiative for students whose objective is to provide a platform to budding scientists which in turn can help with their innovative projects in the field of science and in day-to -day life of people. In the first stage of IRIS Science fair, students submit original projects along with synopsis. There are 10 different categories namely computer science, engineering, maths, physics, etc.
Allen students Utkarsh Dhakrey and Shristhi Asthana submitted the projects on Animal Science and Chemistry respectively. The fair would be held in the month of November in New Delhi. The selected projects in the fair would represent India on International level in International Science and Engineering fair(ISEF) to be held in USA where they would be competing with students over 90 countries for the scholarship and award worth USD 4 million.
