मुम्बई की चॉल से निकला टैलेंट, सेल्समैन का बेटा बनेगा डॉक्टर

मुम्बई में कांजुर मार्ग ईस्ट निवासी हर्ष मिश्रा ने क्रेक किया नीट

रोटी, कपड़ा और मकान मूलभूत आवश्यकताएं होती हैं। इनके अभावों से जूझते हुए भी कॅरियर बनाने का संकल्प पूरा हो जाए तो यह सफलता प्रेरक होती है। ऐसा ही करके दिखाया है एलन मुम्बई के स्टूडेंट हर्ष मिश्रा ने। विपरीत परिस्थितियों में भी इस परिवार ने कभी हार नहीं मानी।

परिवार मुम्बई में कांजुर मार्ग ईस्ट स्थित एक चॉल में निवास करता है। हर्ष मिश्रा ने चार प्रयासों के बाद नीट में सफलता हासिल की। हर्ष ने 611 अंक प्राप्त किए, कैटेगिरी रैंक 9659 रही तथा 22953 आल इंडिया रैंक रही। अब अपने परिवार में पहला डॉक्टर बनने जा रहा है। हर्ष एलन कॅरियर इंस्टीट्यूट मुम्बई का रेगुलर क्लासरूम स्टूडेंट रहा है।

चार साल से टीवी नहीं देखा

हर्ष ने बताया कि माता-पिता सहित हम कुल छह सदस्य हैं। जिस एरिया में हम रहते हैं, हम 10 बाय 30 की चॉल में छह जने रहते है। छत के नाम पर लोहे की चद्दर है। जो कि बारिश में टपकने लगती है और मुम्बई में बारिश कभी भी हो जाती है।

काफी पुराना फ्रिज है। कोई वाहन नहीं है। पापा नौकरी पर लोकल ट्रेन से आते-जाते हैं। टीवी है लेकिन, पिछले चार साल से उसको रिचार्ज नहीं कराया। मैंने कई बार बोला कि रिचार्ज करा लो तो पापा-मम्मी बोलते हैं कि टीवी शुरू हो जाएगी तो तेरा ध्यान भटकेगा। इसलिए रहने दे।

पिता दुकान पर सेल्समैन

हर्ष के पिता सुनील मिश्रा 8वीं तक एवं मां कालिंदी मिश्रा 7वीं कक्षा तक पढ़े-लिखे हैं। सुनील सेल्समैन का काम करते थे। डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर से माल दुकानों तक पहुंचाते थे। 10-12 हजार रूपए पगार थी, कोरोना आ गया। व्यापार ठप होने से नौकरी चली गई। इस दौरान कभी सेविंग्स तो कभी किसी से कर्जा लेकर काम चलाया।

करीब डेढ़ साल घर बैठने के बाद अब फिर से एक दुकान पर सेल्समैन की नौकरी करते हैं। जहां उन्हें 13-14 हजार रूपए पगार मिलती है।

कई बार सिर्फ चावल खाए

हर्ष के पिता सुनील मिश्रा ने बताया कि मैं पढ़ नहीं पाया, इसकी वजह से आज दिन तक संघर्ष कर रहा हूं। मैं नहीं चाहता कि मेरे बच्चे भी ये दिन देखें। इसलिए इनकी पढ़ाई-लिखाई में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ता। मुम्बई जैसे शहर में 13-14 हजार की पगार से कुछ नहीं होता लेकिन, कभी कर्जा लेकर तो कभी छोटी-मोटी सेविंग्स से पैसा निकालकर बच्चों को पढ़ाया है।

कोरोना के टाइम पर नौकरी चली गई तो कई दिनों तक सिर्फ चावल खाकर काम चलाया। आज भी यह स्थिति कई बार आ जाती है।

चौथे अटैम्प्ट में मिली सफलता

मैं शुरू से चाहता था कि डॉक्टर बनूं। पढ़ाई में ठीक-ठाक था। वर्ष 2018 में 10वीं कक्षा 94 प्रतिशत एवं वर्ष 2020 में 12वीं कक्षा 85.56 प्रतिशत अंकों से उत्तीर्ण की थी। मैंने 12वीं कक्षा के साथ ही नीट का एग्जाम का दिया और 309 मार्क्स हासिल किए। इसके बाद कोरोना आ गया और कोचिंग संस्थान बंद हो गए थे। इसलिए एलन से ऑनलाइन नीट की तैयारी की और नीट 2021 में 428 मार्क्स हासिल किए। मुझे गाइडेंस की जरूरत थी।

इसलिए एलन मुम्बई में एडमिशन लिया और नीट 2022 में 537 मार्क्स हासिल किए। कई बार दिमाग में आया कि बीएससी में एडमिशन ले लूं लेकिन दूसरी ओर डॉक्टर बनने का सपना सोने नहीं देता था। एक बार फिर जोश के साथ तैयारी शुरू की और नीट 2023 में 611 हासिल किए। अब मुझे मेडिकल कॉलेज में एडमिशन मिल जाएगा।

Haven’t Watched TV For Four Years

Harsh told that we are a total of six members including parents. In the area where we live, six of us live in a 10 by 30 chawl. There is an iron sheet in the name of the roof. Which starts dripping in the rain and it rains anytime in Mumbai.

Very old fridge. No vehicle. Father commutes by local train on his job. There is a TV but it has not been recharged for the last four years. I told them many times to get TV recharged done, then father and mother told that if the TV starts, then your attention will be distracted. That’s why, let it be.

Salesman at Father’s Shop

Harsh’s father Sunil Mishra is educated till 8th standard and mother Kalindi Mishra is educated till 7th standard. Sunil used to work as a salesman. Used to deliver goods from the distributor to the shops. Salary was 10-12 thousand rupees,

Corona came. I lost my job due to stoppage of business. During this time, sometimes savings and sometimes debt ran the family. After sitting at home for about one and a half years, he is now again working as a salesman at a shop. Where he is getting a salary of 13-14 thousand rupees.

Sometimes Only Ate Rice

Harsh’s father Sunil Mishra told that I could not study, because of this I am struggling till today. I do not want my children to see this day. That’s why he leaves no stone unturned in his studies. In a city like Mumbai, nothing is done with a salary of 13-14 thousand, but, sometimes by taking debt and sometimes by withdrawing money from small savings, he has taught children. When I lost my job at the time of Corona, I worked for many days by eating only rice. Even today this situation occurs many times.

Got Success in the Fourth Attempt

From the beginning, I wanted to become a doctor. I was good in studies. In the year 2018, passed 10th class with 94 percent marks and in the year 2020, passed 12th class with 85.56 percent marks. I appeared for NEET along with class 12th and scored 309 marks. After this Corona came and the coaching institutes were closed. So prepared for NEET online from ALLEN and secured 428 marks in NEET 2021. I needed guidance.

So took admission in Allen Mumbai and secured 537 marks in NEET 2022. Many times it came to mind that I should take admission in BSC but on the other hand the dream of becoming a doctor did not let me sleep. Once again started the preparation with enthusiasm and secured 611 marks in NEET 2023. Now I will get admission in medical college.
