Manu Sharma’s Success Story: From Bharatpur to Kota, and then a brilliant performance in NEET 2025
Every year, lakhs of students work day and night to prepare for a tough exam like NEET, but success is achieved only by those who do not stop or get tired. Today we are talking about Manu Sharma, who successfully cracked NEET 2025 in Kota with two years of hard work and determination.
Manu hails from Bharatpur, Rajasthan. His dream was to become a doctor — a dream his mother had for him and helped him fulfill by coming to Kota. Manu’s father is a teacher and mother a homemaker. He has two more brothers — an elder one who is an M.Sc. Manu has a twin brother who is preparing for JEE and a twin brother who is preparing for JEE.
Manu, who scored 95.83% in class 10th and 94.6% in class 12th, took studies seriously from the beginning. He says that he has always been interested in knowing new things and this curiosity made him a better student. His elder brother’s friends had prepared from Kota and were also selected, so his family was already aware of this. The decision to come to Kota was a collective decision of Manu and his family.
Manu prepared for NEET for two years at ALLEN Career Institute, Kota. The study environment here, guidance of faculty and regular test system were extremely helpful for him. He says that the level of Allen’s majors and mock tests is equivalent to the actual paper of NEET, which keeps the confidence intact on the day of examination.
His strategy was simple: pay full attention in the classroom, clear doubts there, and revise at home. He did not make short notes, but rather developed a deep understanding of concepts. Planning for the next day before going to bed was a part of his routine. He devoted 4–5 hours daily to self-study, though he believes that quality is important, not quantity.
Manu kept a distance from smartphones while studying. He used a keypad phone to stay focused. Apart from studying, he also went cycling with his twin brother — which refreshed him mentally. He believes that studying continuously is not practical, so breaks are also necessary from time to time.
On the day of NEET 2025, Manu handled the paper in a very composed manner. He started with Biology, then Chemistry and finally Physics. He saved time by skipping difficult questions and focusing on easy questions. This smart strategy helped him in time management.
Manu considers Allen Kota’s teachers and environment as the main pillars of his success. He says that he had a strong bonding with the teachers and they took every doubt seriously. He believes that Allen’s module and NCERT together are enough for a perfect preparation.
Manu’s mother stayed with him in Kota for two whole years. Her support, guidance and spiritual approach kept Manu emotionally balanced. His mother always taught him to stay grounded, remain humble and have faith in God.
Manu Sharma’s success story is not just about a topper, but about the inspiring journey of a struggling, disciplined, and dedicated student. Staying afloat in a competitive environment like Kota, avoiding distractions and keeping family values alive — these were the real keys to his success.
If you are also preparing for NEET, learn from Manu’s story — there is no shortcut, no magic to turn dreams into reality. Only hard work, right guidance, and patience are your companions.
