13.95 Lakh Registrations Done for January Session
The country’s largest Engineering Wntrance Exam JEE-Main 2025, being organized by the National Testing Agency, is expected to have the highest ever registration of more than 16 lakh students. Recently, the application process for JEE-Main January session ended on 22 November.
Around 13.95 lakh students have registered for JEE Main 2025 January Session. The exam will be conducted in two shifts every day from 22 to 31 January.
Career Counseling Expert of ALLEN Career Institute said that last year 12 lakh 21 thousand 764 had registered for the first session.
This year, till 9 pm on 22 November, about 13 lakh 95 thousand students have registered. After JEE Main 2025 January session conclusion, applications will be made for April JEE-Main. If we look at the trend of every year, there are about 2 to 2.50 lakh students who apply for the April exam as unique candidates.
If the same number of students apply for JEE Main 2025, then the number of students registering for JEE Main this year can be around 16 lakh, which will be the highest till date.
Correction on 26 and 27
The option of correction for the mistakes made in the application will be given on 26 and 27 November. In this, students will be able to change all the information filled in the application.
During correction, students will not be able to make corrections in mobile number, email ID, current and permanent address, emergency contact details and photograph.
Apart from this, students can make changes in their name, father’s name, mother’s name, class 10, 12, PAN card details, examination city, medium of examination, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category, signature and subject of question paper.
The opportunity to make corrections will be given only once, if the correction is made and frozen, then corrections cannot be made again even if there is time left. After making corrections, students can confirm the corrections by downloading their new confirmation page.
