Education Started in Rawatbhata

UPSC 2025 topper Anuj Agnihotri’s family hails from Rawatbhata, near Kota. Anuj received his early education in Rawatbhata, where he completed his studies up to Class 10.

After completing his schooling, Anuj came to Kota for a more competitive environment and high-level preparation. Kota has long been a major hub for students from across the country preparing for engineering and medical entrance exams.

Two Years of Preparation at Allen Kota

Anuj Agnihotri spent two academic sessions in Kota, 2015-16 and 2016-17, preparing for medical entrance exams at Allen Career Institute. During this time, he prepared for prestigious exams like AIIMS and NEET-UG.

As a result of hard work and disciplined study, Anuj achieved an All India Rank of 215 in the AIIMS exam and an All India Rank of 306 in the NEET-UG in 2017. These achievements proved to be a significant milestone in his academic journey.

MBBS from AIIMS Jodhpur

After securing an excellent rank in the medical entrance exam, Anuj Agnihotri secured admission to AIIMS Jodhpur. He completed his MBBS there. Even during his medical education, Anuj kept his goals clear and decided to prepare for the Civil Services Examination.

After completing his MBBS, he began preparing for the UPSC exam and, through his determination and persistent efforts, achieved the distinction of becoming the All India Topper in 2025.

Father Recounts Kota Experience

Anuj’s father, KB Agnihotri, said that the two years spent in Kota were extremely inspiring for his son. Kota’s academic environment taught Anuj the importance of discipline, dedication, and hard work.

He said that studying at Allen Kota provided Anuj with a wonderful opportunity to improve himself. It was also a blessing for the family that our residence near Kota allowed Anuj to study in a positive environment.

Anuj Comes From a Simple Family

Anuj Agnihotri comes from a simple family. His father, KB Agnihotri, works as a technician at the Rajasthan Atomic Power Project (RAPP), while his mother, Manju Agnihotri, is a homemaker.

Anuj’s elder brother works as a marketing officer at a private company in Hyderabad. Family support and encouragement have played a crucial role in Anuj’s success.
