For the upcoming JEE Main 2024, scheduled to be held from January 24 to February 1, candidates are expected to adopt strict security measures to maintain the integrity of the engineering entrance exam.

According to media reports, frisking and biometric attendance checks will be implemented not only at entry points but also after toilet breaks.

This comprehensive assessment extends beyond those taking the test, including managers, supervisors, employees and individuals who serve refreshments during the testing process.

Objective To Reinforce Safety Measures

The objective is to reinforce a foolproof environment in JEE Main 2024 Exam so as to leave no room for cases of misconduct.

The program focuses primarily on preventing any issues with incorrect methods or the presence of proxies during tests.

Currently, screening of candidates and biometric attendance recording are done at entry points. However, the new features aim to provide a comprehensive and safe testing experience.

Eligibility for JEE Main 2024 Exam

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is basically a screening test for admission to centrally funded engineering institutes including NITs and IITs.

Those who rank in the top 20 percent of the qualifiers are eligible to sit for JEE (Advanced), the entrance exam for the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

JEE (Main)-2024 will be conducted in 13 languages and will cater to a multilingual audience. The languages ​​are English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Computer Based Testing (CBT) will begin in January.
