Highest Ever Registration for JEE Advanced 2023 – 1.90 Lakh Register for JEE Adv. 2023

JEE Advanced 2023 is All Set to be Held on June 4, 2023. This Year, Over 1.90 Lakh Students Have Registered Themselves for the Same

The Indian Institute of Technology of Guwahati is all set to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023 on June 4. The registration process for the same has been over on May 7, 2023. And this year, over 1.90 lakh applicants are reported to have successfully registered themselves for the JEE Advanced 2023.

Highest-ever Registration for JEE Advanced

Mr. Amit Ahuja, Counsellor, Allen Career Institute Kota informed that this year 1.90 lakh students have registered themselves for the JEE Advanced 2023 which is the highest ever registrations in the 11-year-long history of JEE Advanced.

The JEE Advanced is being organized from last 11 years in which 1.90 lakh registrations were never registered. The previous highest registrations were registered in the year 2019 when the registrations were 1.74 lakh.

Examination Details

The highly anticipated JEE Advanced 2023 will consist of two papers. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm, while Paper 2 will follow in the afternoon from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This rigorous examination will assess candidates’ aptitude in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

In total, students can expect a total of 54 questions, with each subject consisting of 18 questions. This comprehensive test will challenge students’ knowledge and problem-solving abilities across these three core subjects.

Marking Criteria

In the upcoming JEE Advanced 2023, students will be awarded plus 3 marks for every correct answer, while unanswered questions will receive a score of 0. However, it’s important to note that for each incorrect response, students will face a penalty of -1 mark.
