JEE Advanced 2023: Exam, Eligibility, Result, Registration Dates Here

The Registrations Will Begin on 30 April 2023, Results on 18 June 2023

The JEE Advanced 2023 exam date has been announced today. The JEE Advanced 2023 examination will be held on Sunday, 4th June, 2023. The Organizing Institute will be the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. The Joint Entrance Examination for Advanced dates has been released at jeeadv.ac.in.

Registration to Begin From 30 April 2023

Candidates MUST register for appearing for JEE (Advanced) 2023. Registration is to be done only through the online registration portal where detailed instructions for registration. Online registration will begin on April 30, 2023 (Sunday, 10:00 IST). Online registration will close on May 04, 2023 (Thursday, 17:00 IST) Last date for fee payment for registered candidates May 05, 2023 (Friday, 17:00 IST).

Results of JEE (Advanced) 2023

Results will be declared on June 18, 2023 (Sunday). Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the JEE (Advanced) 2023 online portal after the results are declared. Text messages will also be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile numbers.

The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2023 [JEE (Advanced) 2023] will be conducted by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board 2023 (JAB 2023). The performance of a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2023 will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor, Integrated Master, and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level), mentioned in clause 2, in all the IITs in the academic year 2023-24. The decisions of JAB 2023 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2023 and admission to IITs in the academic year 2023-24.

Eligibility

Eligibility will also include performance in Class XII (or Equivalent) Board Examination for admission to IITs. The Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following two criteria with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in the year of the first appearance in the Class XII (or equivalent examination). The aspirant must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates should be at least 65%. Must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination.

Exam Details

There will be two mandatory papers, Paper-I and Paper-II, in JEE Advanced exam. The exam duration for each of the JEE Advanced papers is 3 hours. The examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Appearing in both papers is compulsory. The examination schedule is as follows. Date of Examination June 04, 2023 (Sunday) Paper 1 09:00 IST to 12:00 IST Paper 2 14:30 IST to 17:30 IST

ABOUT JEE Advanced

Admission to various undergraduate programs [see Clause 2. ACADEMIC PROGRAMS] across IITs is carried out through the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) [JEE (Advanced)]. Through JEE (Advanced), IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses leading to a bachelor, Integrated Master, Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Architecture. Both Bachelors’s and Masters’s degrees are awarded to candidates enrolled in the dual degree programs upon successful completion of the course curriculum requirements.
