Chemistry

The paper was of moderate level. In which almost equal number of questions were asked from organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. In Inorganic Chemistry, questions came from Periodic Table, Chemical Bonding, Coordination Chemistry, S-Block, P-Block, F-Block and Environmental Chemistry. In Organic Chemistry, questions came from Acid Base, POC, Carbonyl Compound, Amines, Biomolecule and Polymer. In Physical Chemistry, questions were asked from Atomic Structure, Liquid Solution, Chemical Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Ionic and Surface Chemistry.

Maths

Compared to the previous shifts, the Maths paper that came on Wednesday was the most difficult and lengthy. In terms of difficulty level, this paper can be given 4 out of 5 marks. There were 10 questions in Algebra in which questions came from Quadratic Equations, Sequence and Progression, P&C, Probability, Binomial Theorem, Metrics and Determinant topics. Seven-eight questions came from Calculus in which Function, Continuity, Maxima-Minima, Integration, Differential Equation, and Area Under Curve topics were covered.
