National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed JEE (Main) and NEET (UG) 2020 exam. Union HRD Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal’ Nishank’, has announced the new dates for JEE (Main) and NEET (UG) 2020 exam. The JEE (Main) examination will be held between 1 to 6 September, JEE Advanced exam will be held on 27 September and NEET (UG) examination will be held on 13 September.
Application Form Correction Facility Date Extended
- Correction in Candidate Particulars & choice of Centre Cities in Online Application Forms for NEET (UG)-2020, the facility for corrections will be operational on ntaneet.nic from 4th – 15th July.
- Correction in Candidate Particulars & choice of Centre Cities in Online Application Forms for JEE (Main)-2020, the facility for corrections will be operational on jeemain.nta.nic.in from 4th – 15th July.
- The dates of downloading o admit cards including roll numbers and centers of examination will be displayed 15 days before the conduct of examination on the official websites of NTA www.nta.ac.in
This decision was taken after considering the prevailing situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.

JEE (Main) exam was to be held from 18 to 23 July in two shifts between 9 AM to 12 PM, and 3 PM to 6 PM. While the NEET (UG) exam was to be held on 26 July in offline mode, altogether 26 lacs students have registered for both the examinations.
NEET (UG) exam is conducted for granting admission to around 1,63,150 MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and BVSc & AH seats. However, on the basis of JEE Main 2020 admissions will be granted into the B.Tech/B.E, B.Arch and B.Planning courses offered to 32,874 seats by 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes.
