Due to Technical Glitches in the JEE Main Server, NTA has Revised its Schedule to Challenge the Provisional Answer Key
The answer key, recorded responses and question papers of JEE-Main 2024 Session-1 were released by the National Testing Agency on Tuesday night. Aspirants were facing technical glitch in matching the answer key with the recorded responses.

NTA has released the recorded responses of all the 11 shifts of B.E.-B.Tech and B.Arch which were held between January 24 and February 1.NTA later removed the answer key, recorded response and question papers of JEE Main 2024 Session 1 from the website following glitch on the server earlier on Wednesday. Now NTA has issued a notification in which it has revised the schedule to challenge provisional answer key.

In its earlier notification issued on 6 February, NTA had given the opportunity to the aspirants to challenge the provisional answer key upto 11 pm on 8th February. In its latest notification issued on 7 February, NTA has extended the date to challenge provisional answer key. Now the aspirants will be able to challenge the provisional answer key of JEE Main 2024 Session 1 upto 11 pm on 9 February.
As per the NTA notification, aspirants can challenge the Provisional Answer Keys (if any) online by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) per question challenged. The payment for the processing fee may be made through, Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking till 09 February 2024 (up to 11:50 PM). No challenge will entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The fee towards the challenge will not be accepted through any other mode.
For those candidates who might have challenged the answer key without the appropriate Question ID / Option ID, may challenge again. Their former fees will be refunded soon. These candidates have also been informed through e-mail / SMS.
If challenge(s) made by the candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Keys, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non acceptance of his/her challenge. The Keys finalized by the Experts after the settlement of the challenge will be final.
